Benefits of Weight Training

250px-twodumbbells.JPGI have recently aquired a setof dumbels and a book about weight training and weight loss.

Apparently, some of the benefits of weight training include:

  • Stronger – muscle, tendon and ligament (I read this somewhere. I know what muscles are. I am a bit fuzzy on the others.)
  • Leaner
  • More confident
  • More alert
  • Better physique
  • Better posture
  • More attractive (Hey!)
  • More energy
  • Increased flexibility
  • Increased Resistance to nasty illnesses like heart disease, diabetes and cancer.
  • Happier

All good. The trick, of course, is to actually do some training.

Ho, hum.
